The association LES ARCHIVES ARTISTIQUES coordinates the development of the Catalogue Raisonné of the Complete Works of Toshio BANDO.
It is responsible for identifying, archiving, and publishing the works of Japanese artists associated with the ÉCOLE DE PARIS, particularly Toshio BANDO, for whom Jacques Boutersky is the expert, and Léonard FOUJITA, for whom Sylvie Buisson is the expert.
The Catalogue Raisonné of the Complete Works of Toshio BANDO is currently being compiled under the direction of Jacques Boutersky, with the collaboration of Kimie Delaunay and Sylvie Buisson. All listed, authenticated, and certified works will be included.
Founded in 1989, the cultural association LES ARCHIVES ARTISTIQUES aims to promote, study, and enhance the recognition of Japanese artists who came from their homeland to work in Paris during the first half of the 20th century.
Through exhibitions and publications, it contributes to the development of Franco-Japanese cultural exchanges, ensuring that Japanese artists, both painters and sculptors, gain greater recognition not only in their home country but also in France and worldwide.
